Senegal has been a member of the World Bank since August 31, 1962.[1] Senegal is located in West Africa and shares borders with Mauritania, Mali, Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.[2] Senegal also surrounds Gambia and has shorelines along the Atlantic Ocean.[2]
