Putyvl or Putivl (Ukrainian: Путивль, IPA:[pʊˈtɪu̯lʲ]ⓘ; Russian: Путивль, IPA:[pʊˈtʲivlʲ])[1] is a city in Sumy Oblast, in north-east Ukraine. The city served as the administrative center of Putyvl Raion until the administrative reform in 2018; now it is under the jurisdiction of Konotop Raion. Population: 14,886 (2022 estimate).[2]
