The Magellanic snipe (Gallinago magellanica) is a bird in tribe Scolopancinai and subfamily Scolopacinae of family Scolopacidae, the sandpipers and relatives.[1][2] It is found in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and the Falkland Islands.[3]
