This is a list of countries with the highest divorce rate. The current country with the highest annual divorce rate is the Maldives with a rate of 5.52 per 1000 residents per year,[1] while the country with the lowest divorce rate in the world is Sri Lanka, with a divorce rate of 0.15 divorces per 1000 residents. Vietnam and Guatemala have the next lowest rate at 0.2 divorces per every 1000 residents.[2][unreliable source?]
