The Egyptian Popular Current (التيار الشعبي المصريat-tāyar ash-shāʿībi al-masri) is a movement in Egypt, created after the 2012 presidential elections by former presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabahi.[4] The movement was formed on 21 September 2012.[5] The movement formed the Popular Current Party[6] on 21 September 2014.[7]
