Yakutsk Television Tower (Russian: Якутская телебашня), also known as RTPC Jakutsk[4] (PТПК Якутск) and/or RTPTS Yakutsk[2] (РТПЦ Якутск), is a steel 242-metre-tall (794 ft) lattice television tower in the city of Yakutsk, Russia.

The Yakutsk TV Tower transmits FM and TV throughout Yakutsk. The Yakutsk Television Tower is the eighth-oldest of the tallest towers in Russia.[1][2][3][4][5]

The Yakutsk TV Tower is the fourth-tallest standardized free-standing lattice tower in the Russian Federation, 242 m (794 ft) tall. The tower possesses a roof, set at 225.86 m (741 ft) above sea level, and a radio-transmitting antenna mounted atop the television tower, reaching 241.71 m (793 ft) above sea level.[1][2] At the time of its construction in 1982, the Yakutsk TV Tower was the tallest structure ever built on permafrost.[3]
