The Tool for Influenza Pandemic Risk Assessment (TIPRA), is a tool developed by the World Health Organization’s Global Influenza Program.[1] It was created with the purpose to obtain and improved approach to support the risk assessment of influenza viruses with potential to result in pandemics.[2] TIPRA was modelled after the Influenza Risk Assessment Tool (IRAT), an evaluation tool developed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.[2]
