Solomon Green (1 August 1868 – 11 May 1948),[1] invariably referred to as "Sol Green", was a Melbourne bookmaker and racehorse owner and breeder. He styled himself "Leviathan of the Ring"[a] but was also referred to as "Foots" on account of the size of his "pedal extremities".[3]
