Sitala is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the subfamily Durgellinae of the family Helicarionidae.[3]

Sitala is the type genus of the subfamily Sitalinae (which is a synonym of Durgellini.)[4]
