Shahrokh Meskoub (Persian: شاهرخ مسکوب) (January 11, 1924[1] in Babol, Iran – April 12, 2005, in Paris, France), was an Iranian writer, translator, social critic, literary historian, and university professor. Meskoob is considered a preeminent Shahnameh scholar.[2]
