Ruby Ghaznavi (Bengali: রুবি গজনবী; 1935 – January 2023) was a Bangladeshi businesswoman and activist,[1] and a pioneer in the revival of traditional Bangladeshi materials such as Jamdani[2] and crafts.[3] She founded many important organizations, among them Aranya, Karika, National Crafts Council of Bangladesh (NCCB), etc. She was also involved with rights groups such as Naripokkho, Transparency International Bangladesh and Terre Des Hommes.[4][5]
