Procyonidae (/prsjɔːnɪd/) is a New World family of the order Carnivora.[1] It includes the raccoons, ringtails, cacomistles, coatis, kinkajous, olingos, and olinguitos. Procyonids inhabit a wide range of environments and are generally omnivorous.
