Pavel Artemyevich Plotnikov (Russian: Па́вел Арте́мьевич Пло́тников; 4 March 1920 – 14 December 2000) was a prolific Soviet bomber pilot and double Hero of the Soviet Union. After the second World War II, Plotnikov continued his Air Force career and rose to the rank of Major General and retired in 1975.[1]
