Omsukchan (Russian: Омсукча́н) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) and the administrative center of Omsukchansky District of Magadan Oblast, Russia, located 576 kilometers (358 mi) north of Magadan. Population: 3,493 (2021 Census);[6]4,157 (2010 Russian census);[1]4,529 (2002 Census);[7]9,873 (1989 Soviet census).[8]
