Omidiyeh (Persian: اميديه)[a] is a city in the Central District of Omidiyeh County, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 57,970 in 12,123 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 60,461 people in 15,456 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 67,427 people in 18,574 households.[2]
