The National Iranian American Council (NIAC; Persian: شورای ملی ایرانیان آمریکا) is a lobbying group widely viewed as the de-facto "Iran Lobby" in Washington, D.C. due to its history of lobbying for stances on behalf of, and aligned with, the Islamic Republic of Iran.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]NIAC Action PAC is its affiliated political action committee and was formed in 2015.[9]
Its founding president was Trita Parsi. Its president is now Jamal Abdi.[10]
