Nathaniel Robert Code Jr. (born March 12, 1956) is an American serial killer, stalker, and rapist who committed the torture and murder of between eight and twelve individuals in the city of Shreveport, Louisiana, between 1984 and 1987. Among his killings was the mass murder of four members of the Cheney-Culbert family on Cedar Grove in 1985, the crimes for which he was nicknamed The Cedar Grove Killer. Tried for only those murders, he was found guilty and sentenced to death in December 1990.[2]
