This is a list of attacks reported or suspected price tag (Hebrew: מדיניות תג מחיר) attacks or violence aimed at the Palestinian population and at Israeli security forces[1] by radical Israeli settlers, who, according to The New York Times, "exact a price from local Palestinians or from the Israeli security forces for any action taken against their settlement enterprise".[2][3][4]The Wall Street Journal states that the term refers to "a campaign of retribution by fundamentalist Israeli youths against Palestinians in the West Bank".[5]
Over the period from January 2012 to June 2013, Israeli police registered 788 cases of suspected price tag assaults in which 276 arrests were conducted, leading to 154 indictments.[6]
