Leo Earl Sharp Sr. (May 7, 1924 – December 12, 2016), also known as El Tata,[2][3][4] was an American World War II veteran, horticulturist,[5] and drug courier for a branch of the Sinaloa Cartel.[6]
Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Jeff Moore arrested Sharp in 2011 and was interviewed by The New York Times writer Sam Dolnick regarding the investigation into the world's oldest drug mule.[2]
