Kirov Oblast (Russian: Ки́ровская о́бласть, romanized: Kirovskaya oblast') is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast) located in Eastern Europe. Its administrative center is the city of Kirov. As of the 2010 census, the population is 1,341,312.[12]
