Heather Lynn Mac Donald (born November 23, 1956) is an American conservative political commentator, essayist, attorney, and author.[3][4][5] She is known for her pro-police views and opposition to criminal justice reform.[6][7][8] She is a fellow of the Manhattan Institute think tank and a contributing editor of its City Journal.
