Gennaro Joseph "Jerry" Angiulo Sr. (Italian pronunciation:[dʒenˈnaːroˈandʒulo]; March 20, 1919 – August 29, 2009)[1][2] was an American mobster who rose to the position of underboss in the Patriarca crime family of New England under Raymond L. S. Patriarca. Angiulo was convicted of racketeering in 1986 and was imprisoned until being released in 2007.[3] According to a member of the Angiulo Brothers, he was "probably the last very significant Mafia boss in Boston’s history".[4]
