Football is the most popular sport in Haiti.[1][2] It is run by the Fédération Haïtienne de Football. The association administers the national football team, as well as the national football league. Football in Haiti first developed in the state capital of Port-au-Prince, where a regional championship round was already held for the first time in 1912.
