Erenna is a genus of cnidarians belonging to the family Erennidae.[1]
The species of this genus are found in Europe and Northern America and Southeast Asia.[1]
E. insidiator sp. nov. and E. sirena sp. nov. are two new species of Erenna that were discovered near California and Mexico. This discovery has allowed for the identification of three different types of tentilla on tentacles. [2]
