Bruce Lowell Braley (born October 30, 1957) is an American politician and attorney who served as the U.S. representative for Iowa's 1st congressional district from 2007 to 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, he was defeated in his attempt to win an open seat in the 2014 United States Senate election in Iowa.[1]
