Sir Brian Edward TalboysCH KCB AC PC (7 June 1921 – 3 June 2012) was a New Zealand politician who served as the seventh deputy prime minister of New Zealand for the first two terms of Robert Muldoon's premiership.[1][2][3] If the abortive "Colonels' Coup" against Muldoon had been successful, Talboys would have become Prime Minister himself.
