Arkhip Ivanovich Kuindzhi (Russian: Архип Иванович Куинджи[ɐrˈxʲipkʊˈindʐɨ]; Greek: Αρχίπ Ιβάνοβιτς Κουίντζι; 27 January [O.S. 15 January] 1841 – 24 July [O.S. 11 July] 1910) or Arkhyp Kuindzhi (Ukrainian: Архип Іванович Куїнджі)[1][2] was a landscape painter of Greek descent[3] from the Russian Empire.
