Zulm Ki Hukumat (transl. Tyrannical rule) is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language action crime film directed by Bharat Rangcharay and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film stars Dharmendra, Govinda, Moushumi Chatterjee, Kimi Katkar, Shakti Kapoor, Neena Gupta, Paresh Rawal and Archana Puran Singh. The film is a remake of the Hollywood film The Godfather(1972). The story revolves around a young man whose elder brother is an underworld don, and how he steps into the crime world after his brother is killed.
Zulm Ki Hukumat released worldwide on 17th July 1992, clashing with Esmayeel Shroff's Nishchaiy starring Vinod Khanna and Salman Khan. At the box office, the former emerged as a moderate success and the 10th highest grossing film of 1992, while the latter was a flop.
