Zeacom Ltd is the New Zealand trading name that is used by software development company Enghouse Interactive in NZ which acquired Zeacom in 2012. The NZ branch is based in Auckland, New Zealand. While still trading as Zeacom Limited in NZ, all solutions are now branded Enghouse, and former Zeacom offices in the USA (Orange County, CA), the United Kingdom and Australia have been renamed to Enghouse.
Under the Enghouse Interactive brand, the company continues to design, develop, sell and deploy Call Center and Unified Communications software applications to customers worldwide through large vendors and accredited resellers. An in-house team provides Business Process Automation solutions and consulting services.[1]
Zeacom Communications Center was the company's flagship product, and was in use at over 3,500 sites worldwide at time of the Enghouse acquisition (see below). It integrated with NEC, Cisco and Avaya PBX platforms, and interoperated with Microsoft Lync, now Microsoft Teams.
In 2012, the company was acquired by Phoenix, AZ-based communications company Enghouse Systems, and the Zeacom Communications Center was rebranded as Enghouse Interactive Communications Centre (EICC).[2] Customers now widely know the solution as Enghouse TouchPoint after its popular user application.
