Zaw Wai Soe (Burmese: ဇော်ဝေစိုး) is a Burmese orthopaedics surgeon, physician, and professor who currently serves as the acting Union Minister for the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health and Sports since 2 March 2021, appointed by the CRPH. Previously he served as the Rector of the University of Medicine 1, Yangon since 20 May 2015,[2][3] Rector of the University of Medicine 2, Yangon from 2014 to 2015,[4] and led the task force for reforming sixteen medical related universities in Myanmar.[5]
