Zamkan District (Persian: بخش زمکان) is in Salas-e Babajani County, Kermanshah province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Mirabad,[2] whose population at the National Census of 2016 was 966 people in 260 households.[3]

In 2019, Zamkan Rural District's name was changed to Zamkan-e Jonubi Rural District and became, along with the new Zamkan-e Shomali Rural District, a part of the newly established Zamkan District.[2]
