Woorkeri Venkat Raman (pronunciationⓘ; born 23 May 1965) is a former Indian cricketer and former coach of the India women's national cricket team, having been appointed to the role in December 2018.[1] Raman was replaced by Ramesh Powar in May 2021 as the national woman's team coach.[2] He played domestic cricket for Tamil Nadu, mainly as a left-handed batsman and a part-time left arm spinner. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 1990-91 Asia Cup.
