Wesley Carter Welker (born May 1, 1981) is an American football coach and former wide receiver who is the wide receivers coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He previously played in the NFL for 12 seasons, most notably with the New England Patriots. Regarded as one of the greatest undrafted players of all time, he holds the NFL record for receptions by an undrafted player.[4][5][6] Welker played college football at Texas Tech University, where he won the Mosi Tatupu Award and was a first-team All-Big 12 as a senior.

Joining the NFL in 2004, Welker spent his first three seasons with the Dolphins and set the franchise record for kickoff return yardage. Welker was then traded to the Patriots, where he earned Pro Bowl selections in all five of his seasons, led the league in receptions three times, set the franchise record for receptions, and became one of 12 players to score a 99-yard touchdown. He played his next three seasons with the Denver Broncos and was a member of the 2013 team that set the NFL record for points scored in a season. In his final season, Welker was a member of the St. Louis Rams. Welker began a coaching career in 2017 and rejoined the Dolphins as their wide receivers coach in 2021. For his accomplishments in New England, he was named to the Patriots' All-2000s, All-2010s, and All-Dynasty Teams.
