Wayne Francis Tinkle II (born January 26, 1966) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Oregon State Beavers men's team of the Pac-12 Conference.[1][2] Prior to his arrival in Corvallis in 2014, he was the head coach for eight seasons in the Big Sky Conference at his alma mater, Montana, preceded by five years with the Griz as an assistant coach.

Tinkle played professionally for twelve seasons until 2000, including stints in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) and International Basketball League (IBL) and in Sweden, Spain, Italy, and Greece.[2]
