The station is owned by JVC Broadcasting, who is currently in the process of selling the station to Norsan Media, and airs a Spanish tropical format, which it will launch by the sale's closure.
The studios and offices are on Lucien Way in Maitland.[2] The transmitter is on West Story Road in Winter Garden, at Veterans Memorial Park.[3]
WFYY broadcasts in the HD Radio format; its HD2 subchannel carries a Spanish adult contemporary, while their HD3 subchannel carries a salsa music format.
