Volturnus Lake (Bulgarian: езеро Волтурн, romanized: ezero Volturn, IPA:[ˈɛzɛrovoɫˈturn]) is the roughly triangular lake extending 225 m in north–south direction and 215 m in east–west direction on the southwest coast of Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. Its surface area is 3.15 ha.[1] The area was visited by early 19th century sealers.[2]
The feature is named after Volturnus, a Roman deity of water and rivers.[1]
