Venn Eyre[1] was Archdeacon of Carlisle[2] from 2 March 1756 until his death on 18 May 1777.[3]
Eyre was educated at St Catharine's College, Cambridge.[4] He held livings at Stambourne and Stambridge in Essex[5] and Great Salkeld, Cumberland.[6]
