Veerangana Durgavati Wildlife Sanctuary information


Veerangana Durgawati Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Damoh district and Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, India. Named after Rani Durgavati, a queen of the Gondi people, and covering an area of 1,414 km2 (546 sq mi) in core area and 925.120 km2 (357.191 sq mi) in buffer area, the sanctuary was notified by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 1996.[1]
