Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) (
) is an engineering college in Namburu, Pedakakani, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a capacity of 930 students for undergraduate engineering programs (B.Tech), 120 students in six Master of Technology programs and 60 students in a Master of Computer Applications program. The B.Tech program is offered in six disciplines: civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engineering and information technology. Postgraduate programs are offered in computer science and engineering, very-large-scale integration, power electronics, machine drawing and structural engineering.[1]The college was founded in 2007 by Vasireddy Vidya Sagar. It is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.[3]
The institution is accredited with 'A' grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in March 2016 with a CGPA of 3.09 out of four.[4][5] In addition to the NAAC accreditation, the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Information Technology (IT) departments of the college were recognized by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in June 2016.[6] The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accorded accreditation to three other engineering branches namely Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) on 19 January 2018.[7]
