Vanangaan is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language film written, directed and co-produced by Bala under B Studios, while Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions serves as co-producer. The film stars Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash.
The film was announced untitled in March 2022, with Suriya starring and producing under his banner 2D Entertainment, while the title Vanangaan was announced that July. Despite some filming progress, Suriya and 2D Entertainment withdrew from the project that December due to storyline changes. Arun Vijay and Roshni Prakash replaced him and Krithi Shetty, respectively, while Bala took over producing duties alongside Suresh Kamatchi.[1]
Filming with Arun commenced in March 2023 and wrapped in April 2024. The music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while the cinematography and editing are handled by R. B. Gurudev and Sathish Suriya, respectively.
