The University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNC Asheville, UNCA, or simply Asheville) is a public liberal arts university in Asheville, North Carolina, United States. UNC Asheville is the designated liberal arts institution in the University of North Carolina system.[5] It is a member and the headquarters of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges.[6]
