The United Thai Nation Party (Thai: พรรครวมไทยสร้างชาติ, RTGS: Ruam Thai Sang Chart, pronounced[pʰákrūa̯mtʰājsâːŋt͡ɕʰâːt]) is a major Thai political party registered on 31 March 2021 by Seksakon Atthawong, former Deputy Minister to Prayut Chan-o-cha. In the run-up to the 2023 general election, then Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha joined the party on 9 January 2023 as its candidate for the position.[7] The party emerged as the fifth largest party in Thailand, winning 36 seats in the House of Representatives and 12.55% of the vote. The party has been characterized as being conservative, and both pro-military and pro-monarchist.[8]
