Udayanraje Bhosale (born 24 February 1966) is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India, from Maharashtra since 2020. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party.[3]
Bhosale is the 17th holder of the title of Chhatrapati which was founded by the Maratha emperor, Chhatrapati Shivaji on his coronation in 1674.[4]
He is addressed as Chhatrapati by some in the media, however the title is entirely ceremonial and in the role of a pretender.
