The Type 4 15 cm Howitzer (四年式十五糎榴弾砲, Yonenshiki Jyūgosenchi Ryudanhō) was a heavy howitzer used by the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War and World War II. The Type 4 designation was given to this gun as it was accepted in the 4th year of Emperor Taishō's reign (1915).[3]
