Trubchevsky District (Russian: Трубче́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,843.2 square kilometers (711.7 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Trubchevsk.[1] Population: 33,491 (2021 Census);[8] 37,002 (2010 Russian census);[3] 41,690 (2002 Census);[9] 45,000 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Trubchevsk accounts for 39.7% of the district's total population.[8]
