The Wolverhampton trolleybus system served the city of Wolverhampton, then in Staffordshire, England (and now in West Midlands, England), for much of the twentieth century.

Opened on 29 October 1923 (1923-10-29),[1] the system was one of the most extensive trolleybus systems in the United Kingdom, with a total of 14 routes, and a maximum fleet of 173 trolleybuses.[2] For a brief period in the 1930s, it even had the distinction of being the world's largest trolleybus system.[3] It was closed on 5 March 1967 (1967-03-05).[4][2]
