Tresorit is a cloud storage platform that offers functions for administration, storage, synchronization, and transfer of data using end-to-end encryption.^[1][2] More than 13,000 companies use Tresorit to protect confidential data and share information securely. It is also used widely by Government organizations and NGOs as well as privacy-conscious individuals to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and data-breaches. As of today, the encryption of Tresorit has never been hacked.

Apart from security, the development focus of Tresorit lies on a high usability of its solution. Founded in 2011, Tresorit closed an €11.5M Series B financing round in 2018 and was featured on FT1000 by Financial Times 2020^[3] as the fifth fastest-growing cybersecurity company in Europe. In 2021, Swiss Post Communications Services acquired a majority stake in the company to expand its digital product portfolio. Tresorit works as an independent entity under Swiss Post.^[4] which is now sole shareholder. The company has offices in Zurich, Switzerland; Munich, Germany; and Budapest, Hungary, employing around 100 people.
