The Song of Sparrows (Âvâz-e gonjeshk-hâ) (Persian: آواز گنجشکها) is a 2008 Iranian drama film co-written, produced and directed by Majid Majidi. The film stars Reza Naji as an ostrich farmer who is fired because one of the ostriches escapes. He finds a new job in Tehran, but faces new problems in his personal life.[1][2][3] It received critical acclaim.
