The Armless Maiden (Russian: Косоручка) is a Russian fairy tale collected by Alexander Afanasyev in Narodnye russkie skazki.[1]
It is Aarne-Thompson type 706, the girl without hands. Other variants of this tale include The Girl Without Hands, Penta of the Chopped-off Hands, Biancabella and the Snake, and The One-Handed Girl.[2]
