Sudhansh Pant (born 14 February 1967) is an Indian Administrative Service officer of 1991 batch from Rajasthan cadre. He is currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Rajasthan. He previously served as the secretary in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and has also served as OSD in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.[2][3][4][5][6]
His vast experience in strategic planning, particularly in the health sector, played a pivotal role in his selection for this crucial administrative role. Pant's contributions to the ministry included playing a key role in controlling the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak and showcasing his leadership during the challenging times of the pandemic. Over the last five years, Pant has actively participated in drafting several important bills, addressing critical issues such as the reduction of medicine and medical device prices. Many of these bills have now materialized into significant policies.
Pant has held crucial appointments both at the state and central levels during his distinguished 30-year career. Notably, he managed the colossal COVID-19 medical relief operations in the Health Ministry, navigating through the challenges as the Joint Secretary.[7]
